It depends. An American billion is not as much as an English billion. A US billion is a thousand million and a UK billion is a million millions
You can make the calculation yourself now you have the figures !!

Thanks. I know the difference and I'm asking for dollar conversion so it would 1 billion = 1,000 million. However your post doesn't help me with the Yen conversion.

The "American" (proper name - short scale) numerical system, whereby 1 billion = 1,000,000,000, has had exclusive usage for official purposes in the UK since 1974.
