we havr just fitted a new Torbeck adjustable height bottom entry fitting valve in one of our loos but its taking an age to fill. Its always been a bit slow compared to the one in the en suite which fills within just a few seconds. The new one came with a flow restrictor which my hubby didn't fit as he thought it would make it slower still? Is there any way of knowing why its taking so long & how we can rectify this problem. thanks.

Regulations stipulate that toilet cisterns should take no more 2 mins to fill to the correct level. If this has always been slow I'd imagine it's a pressure problem and would not be cheap to correct.

Also if your other cistern really fills that quickly I'd fit a high pressure flow restrictors as the force of the water through the valve will cause damage over time.
