Is there a word to decribe me, insofar as I really do not care about people much, even lost souls and peasants, but would never see an animal ill-treated.

In other words a word which makes animals more important than humans in welfare cases etc, if you know what I mean.

A person who can watch hunger in Ethiopia and Human Rights violations in Iran and not really give a monkey's, but gets emotional if they see a captive dog in China ready for Mr Wongs dinner.

Thank you.

Wardy.

That really spoilt it for those people, ngiving sound medical advice and showing a very popular comedy sketch

Confused this person who now calls himself V2_Schneider
has had many many names on Answerbank, He gets banned on a daily basis for being a vile evil liar, you may remember yesterday that he kept calling the editor a c**t, (how very mature) I on the other hand have never been banned.

Will "a misanthropic zophilist" do, V2? I can't think of a single word, but that phrase encapsulates the notions of a distaste for mankind accompanied with a love of creatures.
