This was ordered over the internet and the fitting instructions were just gobblygook. It is one of the simpler self fitting ones and operates a pager, The wiring loom has 6 very thin cables, 2 of which attach to the battery.
On the diagram 1 goes to the ACC
1 goes to door pin switch (+)
1 to the door pin (+)
1 to the door pin (-)

Without being too technical where are these 4 contacts?

ACC will presumably be Accesories, which is the first 'stop' on your ignition (eg the radio works, but ignition is not on). Have you got any contact switches in the kit for the doors? (Like the ones that work the courtesy lights). I assume that is what they mean by a door pin.
