If I get a bonus of �272 gross, how much will that be net?

If you are a basic rate taxpayer and normally earn between �100 and �670 a week then you will pay �89.72 in tax and National Insurance.

If you are a higher rate taxpayer the tax will be �108.80 and the National Insurance goes down to 1% (ie �2.72) if you ar already earning more than �670 a week.
