Wireless connection for PS3

cannot get a wireless connection for PS3. When setting up, my ps3 recognises the wireless router(netgear DG834G). But thats as far as I get. Please help thank you.

I found my PS3 wanted WEP to be enabled and so needed the password. Also just to be sure add the MAC address of the PS3 to the routers allowed devices list.

also you could try changing its IP adress my mate had a power cut and when he got the wireless back up it had designated different IP adresses to his pc laptop and Ps3 so yer also you might have put your passward in wrong.......
