Saw Lenny Henry enter an Irish Pub,to be told by the first Irishman he met ''We Hate the English. we might know an individual Englishman we like,' but,as a race we hate them.'' Any Irishmen out there care to comment on this Bigoted Racist's comments.? By the way ,his mates didn't deny what he said. And ,you Irish Fool,We are ALL individuals,!

oooooh, touched a nerve there I think enigma!!!
OK, then.
Who was the humourless person who got my last post removed ?

That would be the person who hadn't got the courage to challenge any of the outrageous statements made .........
I have heard the most liberal, left-wing English comedians, who otherwise eschew racist and sexist humour, have a go at the French. I have even heard one sing a song called 'Why I hate the French'. I have also heard Adrian Edmonson and Rick Mayall have a go at the Scots. They don't actually mean it. It's just a wind-up. So I suppose it's the same with Irish Mick and his shovel. It's just ironic humour.
i think that the english, scots, welsh and irish should get together.......and attack the isle of man!!
Why is it that those people who never have a good word to say about the ENGLISH are so very willing to live in ENGLAND .
I was born in Manchester and lived there for 32 years ,therefore I AM ENGLISH (born in England gettit ! not Wales ,Scotland or Ireland ) I repeat I AM ENGLISH secondly British.
Sorry about the rant but I am sick and tired of people putting the English down .Ok I can take a joke but the ravings on here sometimes go beyond a joke .
Have a good night ,Dolly .
The funny thing is, most English ppl have Scottish, Welsh and Irish blood and vice versa. I'm English with one Irish great grandfather so I suppose I'm one eighth Irish! I'm saddened that so many S, W and I appear to hate us and will even support whatever football team we're playing but what can you do. It's certainly interesting to note this difference:
An Irish bloke makes disparaging remarks about the English and nothing is done.
An English woman (anne robinson) does the same about the Welsh and is questioned by the police.
I'm not suggesting the Irishman should be castigated in any way. But this double standard has to stop.
Incidentally, why is Aussie an ok name for an Australian but **** not for Pakistani? They're both shortening of names, surely?
In Hong Kong white westerners are known as gweilohs (ghosts) because of our pale faces. I couldn't care less.
I think if someone applies a national, cultural or racial stereotype and it offends you, it's a case of If The Cap Fits.
