hi gelda remember you said about giving my fox (not freddie) raw eggs, well i have'nt tried it yet , but im still giving him/her sausages and im going to give him/her the eggs over the weekend, but in todays daily mail theres a fox stealing eggs from a goose nest and swimming back and forth with them to feed to the cubs without breaking a single one.

Hi Dave. Yes I saw that, unfortunately that's nature eggs are a good source of protien, I saw my foxes last night, there are 8 cubs and 5 adults, good job they live in the wood and not near any houses otherwise there might be a few complaints with all the noise they make! I posted some pictures of them last year some time but I don't know if it's possible to go back that far with posts, there's one with a kitten that the foxes adopted, I suppose I'm a bit obsessed with them but they are fascinating animals! Let me know how you get on with the eggs. Gelda
P.S. I think my posts were under "FOXES" and it would have been about the end of October last year.

Firstly I have to ask how are you ?, I didnt realise what you have be through, and i hope you are doing ok.

I found the pics of the foxes with the cat, well i guess that proves foxes dont eat cats!
Great pics though, they must be getting pretty tame with you now.

Luckily I can walk a bit now and am able to drive, I can't be cured and don't know how long I've got but I'm just enjoying being mobile again and making the most of every day! It's lovely being able to get out in the countryside again and also to see my foxes, ( a friend has been looking after them for me for the past year ) the first time I went up by myself I called them and out of the wood they came so they obviously remember me, luckily they don't trust other people, they disappear if by chance anybody walks by. Let me know how you get on with your fox! Gelda
