Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Can anyone help with these please. I have tried my best but just cannot get them.
1. Put out, keep hot (9 letters)
2. Sounds like someone's been bullied (6 letters)
3. Put off in sport - hurdling first (9 letters)
4. A Cockney outcast (8 letters)
5. Black mark (9 letters).
Any help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

2 could be Masham although round here (in the yorkshire dales) it is pronounced MASSAM but if it has been set by someone not from this area then this could be the answer

1 = dishforth (dish == pyut out, keep = fort, h = hot)

3 is Spofforth. 'off' in 'sport' + first letter of hurdling.

Sorry to be so long in replying - had to see what was going on at Wimbledon. Thank you all very much for your help, I really do appreciate it. All I need now is A Cockney outcast (8 letters). I'll keep my fingers crossed! Thanks again.
