The ADSL broadband uses standard telephone cable and 100 m is fine. If you are trying to connect to the modem using USB, the maximum length is 5 m. If you connect to a cable modem via ethernet cable then 100 m is also fine.
You could also use a wireless network. Mine says it'll work up to 100 m, though I haven't tried it that far yet. You can connect multiple PCs, or a PC to a broadband hub.

the cable i have is that of coaxil type, it comes from a socket in the wall wich connects into my modem wich is connected to pc. i need to run from the socket 100metres away. you said telephone cable? thats somewhat different. can i run the coaxil type this far? im using ntl bband.
Run the coax into a router or hub and then run cat5 to the pc that's 100m away. wireless will be ok if you've little or no obstructions in the way.
