Can somebody please give me a specific link to the Consultation process in the Customs & Revenue website to their proposals to grab unpaid tax from bank accounts without prior authorisation from the Courts. I want to protest. No government organisation should be be able to act above the law.

I think its probably in the small print of the download on the RHS of this page. It was published 10 days ago but the news only hit the stands yesterday so one suspects its taken a few days for those news hawks to read it and twig what it is saying.

OK so the link doesn't show up as a proper weblink - I don't know why - perhaps because its a secure site. Try typing it manually at the Government News Network www.gnn.gov.uk then Environment then HMRC. The article is about the 4th one down and it links to a document that can be downloaded.

Secure sites (https) do not automatically become links on AB.

Sometimes you can work around it by deleting the "s" to make it http...

...otherwise you need to label the link, like this.
Very good, Kempie. You learn something new every day.
Goverments do not have to act above the law, they change the law as they see fit. You can deselect them next election. Did you vote Labour? time for a change?
