I've been looking to but a Network storage device for a while now - the one I liked the look of was the Netgear SC101 here http://www.netgear.co.uk/digital_home_sc101.ph p

however after reading reviews I'm not so sure

What I need is a device which I can connect to my Netgear DG834N router to allow me to back up and access files via 4 PC's.

Has anyone got the above or can you suggest any suitable alternative?

Thanks

I like the sound of this one:

But that's only because it can be used to download torrents.
I've not got one so I couldn't comment.
That QNAP looks a bit expensive - I'm looking around at NAS enclosures that wil take two drives (I've got some spare HDs). Hope to get good reviews - anyone help?

The buffalo range seems to get good reviews --does anyone know if you could make a back up storage from an old PC with a new hard drive? I think I have heard of this before
