Help! Can't log into Myspace

For the last 4 days i've been unable to get into my Myspace account. every time i put in my e-mail address & password it makes like its loading, but then brings me back to the login page. My profile is definately ok, as i logged in no probs from a friend's computer. I'm not getting any error messages, its like it doesn't understand i want to log in. Could this be something to do with my firewall? I've tried deleting cookies and temporary internet files, but to no avail. We have Norton Antivirus and Symantec firewall, if that's any help to anyone.
does anyone know what might be the problem?

i have e-mailed Myspace customer service twice and they have yet to reply. i have requested my password 3 times, including today, and it hasn't been changed, my hubby's profile, which is on a different desktop on this PC has the same problem. logged on using my mate's PC about half an hour ago and my password was the same as ever. also, nothing on my profile has changed, and none of my friends have had any messages/bulletins/comments from me in the past 4 days. Have scanned for viruses and spyware - all clear. It was my first thought, but i don't that's what's happened here.

Have you tried lowering your firewall settings?

Have you checked for spyware. Sometimes the problem with myspace is that it creates a fake page and stops you from logging in. I used to have all sorts of problems with the spaz until I switched to mozilla.

apparently some people who have this problem can download myspace Im and get through that way. Worth a try.

oh my god that totally worked! you're a genius!
at the risk of sounding like a right thick, HOW did that work when i couldn't get in before? is it a known glitch with Myspace?

I would suggest you change your passwords just to check it isnt a spyware problem, and then scan your pc with spybot or something. What does it say in the address bar when you try to log in normally?

bizzarely, once i'd got in thru IM, i changed my password, and now i can log in thru the main login page again. all very odd! have done another scan for spyware, but all clear. thanks for all your help!

It must have been some spyware hijacking the main page. Are you just scanning it with norton antivirus? Keep changing passwrod regularly.
