London Liverpool station to Gatwick

Can anyone please tell me the best way to get from London Liverpool Street Station to Gatwick Airport. Also how long it would take. Many thanks

Circle line on the tube to Victoria, then Gatwick Express to Gatwick, I guess. About 20 minutes for the first, half an hour for the second, but always leave more time in case of delays - don't want to miss your plane.

The Gatwick Express is a 'normal' train that is just dedicated to the Victoris Station to Gatwick Airport route.

PS no need to book online or even at the station; as far as I know tickets are the same price on board. But if travelling late at night or weekends the journey may take up to 45 minutes so check the schedules on that website

Is your actual journey from Liverpool Street to Gatwick?

If not (and I'm guessing you may be switching airports from Stansted) there may be better ways of doing it.
