Some do, some dont! Mine never have after being done. The foul smell will not be there though.

Thanks for your quick responce at what age did you get yours done at? thanks"goodsoulette"
6 months.
Hang on Neil....I'll just put you on to Tigger here and praps he will be able to enlighten us all as to why he still sprays after being neutered..............no.......sorry....he's not saying....oh...just a minute....he says it's not him it's one of those other dirty devils...purr purr purr...back off to sleep..nite nite folks

Is that sarcasm ? As it was no help .
Don't be so sensitive Neil...where is your sense of humour...it was just a little bit of fun.In answer to your question I have 3 cats 1 female and 2 males...the youngest male was neutered at 7 months old and up to that point there was no problem. He is 7 this year and he is an avid sprayer.I love him dearly so I have to go round mopping up after him. I think it started when neighbourhood cats wandered into the conservatory and also my female bullies him a bit and he is a sensitive soul who is easily upset ( a bit like yourself Neil )...and then he goes and sprays up something...so there you are...hope this helps...and please accept sincere apologies if I upset you ...I did'nt intend to..just thought you might like a chuckle Oh and Tigger says "sorry" too.

My 8 year old neutered male cat is a "sprayer". He's a BIG , 20 lb. alpha male....(his nickname used to be "Killer" or at least that's what the birds called him!!)
He sprays in the spring time or if I bring a new piece of furniture into my house!( grrrrr, bad kitty, bad!) LOL.
The vet has given him a shot to help him stop it. It hasn't worked yet but I'm hopeful. So, there is a shot if you can't stand to keep cleaning and cleaning and cleaning........hope that helped alittle! Good luck!

warpig3, look above.
I did Neilzulu, but I did not need Tiggerwoos initial comment explained to me, it was obviously humour not sarcasm.
20lbs, jesus christ thats 2 lbs lighter than my 2 year older. Thats huge!!
LOL GS what is 20lbs?
Oops, sorry GS just saw NY's post. D'oh, back to bed for me!
Thanks guys...glad you saw the funny side of it...and I am sure Tigger(alias "**********" ) as he often referred to, sees the funny side of it too as I wearily trudge off to get my bucket and sponge for the umpteenth time.
I got one of those blue lamp things you can use....to find the places they've done it....you use it in an unlit room in the dark and the offending area lights up blue. Marvellous....have'nt used it yet....my daughter reckons, when I do.....the whole bl...y house will light up!!!!!!!!
Rhat would be pi..ypants by the way...not too naughty!
That...sorry
LOL tigger, rather you than me!
