Who or what was Katahula? Does anyone know?? I am an avid Fields of the Nephilim fan and their lyrics are full of sumarian mythology but i still cant find any reference to Katahula!! Please help!!

I think the Lovecraft reference is correct.
Metallica also touched on this with their instrumental "The Call of Ktulu".
Whether they deliberately mispelled 'Cthulhu' or just misheard it as I believe you did, I'll never know!

Hey cheers guys!! I dont think we have got to the bottom of it yet!! I know i have definetly spelt it wrong and its nothing to do with a dog! It is something to do with a female entity living in the core of the earth and one day she is going to come out into the open! I think she was bannished to the core of the earth for something but i dont know why!!
