Does any one know for sure what happens to those cars we see on the news submerged in floodwater?
Are they written off....I wouldn't want my car back after being filled with sewer loaded water!

we had quite a flood a couple of years back, and had 5 of our cars with water up to the seats, the insurance company paid for them all to be stripped out, carpets replaced, seats cleaned,a couple were replaced, with new seats, but they dident write any off, older cars they may well do,but newish cars will just basically clean up.but it depends a lot of what insurance company, what sort of policy they have and how much fuss you make.
