I am going to a wedding in August and need to get a dress. My problem is that I am a size 12 with 30 H chest. I suppose I will have to get a big size and get it taken in round the waist. Anyone any ideas about what style I should go for that will look ok but be suitable for taking in too? I am crap at clothes. Please help me! Thankyou

Why get a dress? Why not seperates? You can get matching skirts and tops which will look almost like a dress then you could buy them in different sizes.

Good plan, I will look into that. Although unless its a very stretchy top it will still need to be taken in or it won't fit round the boobs :/
i am a size 20 on top 40gg and a size 16 waist.the woman serving in monsoon, nice shop for separates by the way, told me that i just wouldnt be able to get a high street dress to fit me so separates are a must for me. got one dress, very nice from a website that is sort of silky jersey material that looks lovely on, again woman in monsoon recommended online purchases or catalogues, great woman in monsoon eh. the website is:

a bit pricey but very nice. good luck, hope you find something!
ps i got myself a lovely fake wrap around dress, most flattering on the bust area.
Try a bias cut dress so that the dress looks fitted but takes the changes in body shape easily (Monsoon do lots) and they are very good for just your problem - I am the same - 30G bust and size 8. I have always checked there first and never had any problems.
