I think General Woundwort only had one eye, but it might have been Blackavar, who was the rabbit that tried to escape from Woundwort's warren, and then got several injuries after being beaten up by Woundwort's 'heavies'.

many thanks sddsddean, that's a huge help!! :)
Funnily enough I was watching my video of Watership Down only yesterday. It was definitely General Woundwort - if you mean "blind in one eye", that is.
Oh Oh I've got to tell u about a guy I know who mistook Grey Lady Down (nuclear sub sinks ...action/rescue movie) and Watership Down....it was back in the seventies or so and we all had long hair and wore wrangler jackets etc.... well this guy bought a ticket for WD by mistake...and sat thru about 30 mins of the animation movie with mums and kids before leaving the cinema gutted!!!!It still makes me chuckle.
Read the book 'Event 1000' by David Lavalee bluedolphin. It's the book the film was based on, but miles better.
