Hi, i was wondering, if i bought a nintendo wii in thailand for a present, would it work back in the uk? obviously it would need a plug adaptor but thats fine, but would the console and everything else work or not? thanks xx

I know this isn't what you asked but might be of help! Whenever I have bought Nintendo games in Thailand they have always worked. Some places let you test the stuff before you buy it. One place even let me exchange one game I bought after I checked with my nephew and he already had it.
I'm pretty sure it would work. I'm lived over there for a while and to be honest I would go into a very expensive looking electrical shop and ask them if it would work in the UK. Then leave and goto the cheaper shops and buy one there!
