Retrieving the content of a phone call

Does anyone know if it's possible to retrieve the content of a phone call? I had a call to my (Orange) mobile and it's logged the originating number, date and time of the call. The person who made the call is now denying they made it - is there any way I can get a transcript or something so that I can prove what was said?

I doubt it - who would keep such details? There would be national uproar if it was discovered that everyone's phone calls were being recorded.
