i have been to a place before where out to sea there looks like a shipwreck under the water and I remember that on the beach there was a sign warning of this too.

This picture I drew of what the 'wreck' looks like

Thanks to anyone that would recognise where this place is.

Hi Cockney, could it be the one off of the isle of sheppey ? think it is near sheerness, the only one I can think of.
Question Author
I don't think it was no as the one of the Isle of Sheppey has masts poking out too.

I'm sure it's somewhere down south though.

Was taken there by my grandparents a long long time ago.
Was it off Lizzards Point, near Land's End???
There is a wreck off Barmouth off the coast of wales

Thanks but it wouldn't have been wales or lands end.

Ray, I'm from East London, my nan lived near bermondsey way.

I'm sure someone out there would know where the place ie, I'm pretty sure people walk their dogs there all the time.

Hi Cockney, there are loads of shipwrecks off of dorset and cornwall, might be worth looking at websites for those areas, local historians might be able to help you, lot of the sites may have links to them, good luck, Ray

I lived in Surrey Docks, opposite soutwark park, loved it there, lived there many years, gone posh now, surrey quays, prats
I cant look at the link as it's blocked (in work) but there is a shipwreck over the beach from where Ilive called The Amsterdam its in Hastings. All you can see now is the top of the wreck in the sand.
Question Author
Thanks Spanner but it's actually higher in the water.

It may actually be something other than a wreck but I do know it was visible above the waves and somewhere on the south coast.
