Hi . One of my ears is completely blocked with wax. I have been using olive oil to soften it prior to syringing . However I can only get an appointment at my local doctors for next friday and Its driving me mad!! I have tried nhs direct who said that a local casualty dept. won't do it and to try a walk in centre at Boots the chemist or a optician with a hearing aid centre , done this, no good. Any one got a better idea(s).
I live in the Solihull area in the West Midlands. Thanks.

There is a product called Audiclean which you can buy at Boots. It is recommended by ENT specialists and it disperses earwax and helps extract obstructive wax plugs. The instructions are very easy to follow and it worked for me.
