I was removing lilly pollen from my hearth and rug with the hoover, unfortunately because the nozzle had pollen on it, it rubbed the pollen into the rug and I now have a yellow stain. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove this?

This stuff is the hardest stuff to remove! The best thing to do with it is try and get it up with a bit of sellotape while it is dry.

Whatever you do, do not wet the pollen as this will set the stain and nothing will get it out when it has set!

We always cut the internal stalks off things like this when we bring them back to the house, stops things like this happening
