Am trying to do the puzzles in Real People and have got myself stuck on the link words again! Can anyone help?

stone - gap
gate - barrier
castle - fit
banana - ends
round - turn
hospital - robe

thought I had some but the first two not so sure on as they wouldnt make a word

had thought of:

stone wall gap
banana split ends
round about turn
hospital ward robe
