Ornamental Orange Tree

We were given an orange tree 4 months ago - it is kept in the conservatory so is very warm and water weekly....but the leaves have all died and fallen off - why is this and what can we do to save the tree please?

You could try treating it like I treat my bonsai i.e. keep it away from any sources of artificial heat(heaters, radiators etc) and spray it regularly with cooled boiled water in a fine mist sprayer. You may struggle though as the tree probably needs to be outdoors.
