My quiestion here is what do you think about the 100 ml max of liquid that you can take on a plane. We have just come back from mallorca and on the flight home we was 6 killos overweight and they tried to charge us 60 for the privelage so started to upload the conntents of our suitecases into our hand luggage (you know the type of heavy things like ipod speakers, hair dryers, travel kettles, bacardi, vibrators, etc etc) eventually we got to dead on 40 kilos and was not bothered about the litre of bacardi as have always been able to come back from abroad b4 with more than 100ml of liquid. But low and behold they have changed the rules now and apparantly you cant, as we went through the scanner the spanish plonker said to me no alchol and started to try to take the bottle of bacardi of me. After about 5 mins of arguing the tos and arm wrestling with half the spanish police they finnaly took the bottle of me. But I went away with a smile and you know why that was, they may have taken the bottle of bacardi of me but they forgot to check again about the half bottle of vodka that was in the same bag and went on that plane LMBO

You still cant seem to answer my queistion about why 100ml can you though and I dont give a flying fart about what couler you are and it is a bit strange that old fashioned has dissapeared (oh my golly gosh lawdy dordy wrong spelling again) and resarected herself again like the phoenix from the ashes
1) oldfashioned is now dr spock, and is and always was male.
2) there is no point going beyond 1 when you can't grasp it.

I have found a partial answer to your query regarding the 100ml. If the alcohol you were taking on board had been in a sealed duty free bag it would not have mattered how large the bottle was. The receipt has to be attached and the bag tamper proof and the receipt must also be from the day of travel in the duty free airport shop or on the plane.
The only other liquids allowed are toiletries like shampoo and they can only be in 100ml bottles and must be in a see through re-sealable bag.
I have been into my travel agent today and asked about this and to see of my tickets are ready but they aren't due til the end of the week, but the nice Thomas Cook man printed me off the info, which he said is available online and also wopuld be in my travel pack with my tickets and also clearly advertised and displayed at all airports.
At least now i know the facts and i won't be making a fool of myself by getting it wrong will i?
knobby,
cheers for the info yesterday
One more question while I'm on the net with sky can the phone still be used for incoming and outgoing calls.
cheers mrk.
