I have recently bought a replacement Sky+ box as my other one stopped recording.

When I put my Sky card in, it does not accept it so I need to do something to register the card with the new box.

Question is, what do I have to do? I know its in the installation menu somewhere

I would think that you will need to enter the serial number of the new box. Usually with SKY, box serial numbers are card specific.
You will probably need to go into the system setup to check your box type and serial numbers and then phone SKY in order for them to enetr details via the satellite link.
I only have a normal SKY box and whilst the above information is shown in steup I don't think it is possible to enter the details oneself.
