Hello everyone connected with this.
This week's Torchwood was extremely interesting for 3 counts. Not to mention very good?
i) To those out there who subscribe to the notion that there are John Keel's ultraterrrestrials, underminining our way of life, playing with us and tormenting us and have been so for ages: Faieres, perhaps worse, etc. mention some sort of interest here, please.
ii) You're from the other camp, who actually think that there has been some sort of connection with us from other worlds (Poor delusionals - other planets) Think! Would they really show up in stupid, bizarre tin foil outfits?
III) Thirdly, how come Captain Jack was is India in 1909? I thought he was a time agent from the far future brought back to pre WWII for nefarious reasons. Any explanations?

Or maybe I'm taking the whole thing too seriously? It's not real, they tell me. If I can negotiate the main gates in the camp, I'll be alright. Not many people know that you can split a straightjacket on the hooks of a rusty barbed wire. If you disagree, I''ll come and see you. For now I'll have a bit of a nap on a blasted heath; I can hear the bloodhounds tracking me, but I'll be alright: I'Ve killed one of them and smeared all their blood on me so they'll never track me...go on... that's my theory, I'll see you all in a cafe in Newcastle Upon Tyne if you send me the correct coded message, which, alas, I have not decided upon as yet: you'll have to pre-emp me. If you get it wrong then so are you, that's it! It's all sh!t, yes, everything!!

If I were you I'd get a new dealer - the one you have is obviously cutting it with all kindsof rubbish.
For Christ sake build the walls higher
When I was watching the last episode of Torchwood I also could not understand the business with Captain Jack in the war. I thought exactly the same as you, that he was from the future and had travelled back to war times but I thought that my memory must have been playing tricks on me. It just doesn't make sense to me.
Jack was back then because he was killed on the game station (In Doctor Who) and then brought back to life (By Rose) and then found his way back to Earth sometime in our past. As he can't die, he ended up living for a very long time and not aging at all. He has lived through a lot of things is our past and is waiting for it to be now so that he can find the Doctor again.

I know this was posted ages ago I just thought that I would give you an answer.
