Are most (or even all) of their economy seats up to date in terms of in flight entertainment (personal LCD screen infront of you, media on demand etc.) like it's competitors.

I refuse to fly long haul with just one crusty Screen on the ceiling shared between a whole cabin.

Not sure if all the planes have LCD screens but I've flown to Tampa with BA 5 times in the last 4 years and have always had my own. May be worth looking on the website?
Flown to New York and everyone has their own screen on the back of the seat in front.

If you go the their website they should be able to show you the type of plane and what it has on bnoard for that particular journey.

Hi HM1, I already looked at their website before posting their question and in doesn't have a clear answer, we're planning to go on a break to Hong Kong in a couple of months time and it seems they're the cheapest alternative.

Thanks Prophet!
Yes BA will.

(18 channels phhh! Emirates have 300, including a live camera channel looking down from below the plane and another looking ahead!)

Emirates would be my first choice if it wasn't 100+ per person more. We used Emirates a fews a ago going to Melbourne and it was probably the best airline we've experienced the service was excellent, and flying back (from Singapore to Dubai) we were onboard a brand spanking new 777.
