I'm retired really but got a little job thurs and friday pm 2 till 8 looking after pitch and putt at end of road, taking fees and club deposits etc.
Off to club now playing pool with my mate. Back at 11.30 ish.

I'm also wondering why people post to say "I'm going out now" - as if to say "You get on with it while i'm gone".

Get on with what ? If you post a question, especially in a chatty mode, you might as well hang around for the answers !!

Well Pippa, I once started a thread on here, and had to go to the toilet in mid-flow. It was an urgent matter, but I didn't trouble AB by saying "I'm off to have a crap now, behave while I am gone". I just got on with it, I have a TV on the upstairs hall so I missed very little.

I don't know how you manage it, whiffey..I went over to Food & Drink earlier, a bit of a change to B&S, Law & Finance but I fancied a change.

Never again.

I have eaten 3 slices of cheesecake, a lump of brie and I have a strange craving for spinach.
