Do you need a license for a Air Gun? A neighbour of mine has one and during the hot weather was firing it out in their garden, I am not sure what at, maybe some sort of target? I have cats and I am afraid they may take a shot at them, you now what some people are like. Thanks

You don't need a license and you can shoot in your own back garden, providing you do not shoot within 50 feet of the middle of a public highway.

He can shoot vermin. This includes rats, grey squirrels, pigeons, wood pigeons, collared doves, jays and magpies.

Speak to him about your cats if you are worried.
