chambers third addition dictionary

I have been springcleaning,and have come across this dictionary i dont quite know what to do with it,i think it was rescued years ago but dont belong to my family,inside the cover it says1903 presented to fred dewsnap for regular attendance at sunday school,and on the next page written in pencil (childs handwriting)presented from auntie and uncle to betty goldthorp 1944.What do you suggest i do with it? thanks in advance

Can't find that exact dictionary anywhere on the internet, but a Chambers Encyclopedia from 1903 is on sale on ebay for �10 + �20 p+p so it's probably worth something similar. Obviously this isn't a massive amount and there's no guarantee of a sale so you could always just sell it to a dealer or second hand bookshop for a bit less; or see if the Sunday school still exists and give it back to them!

Thank you fairkatrina,i think i will look on google and see if i can find the chapel,it is in dewsbury and i live in wales,if i can find it i will send it on, maybe they will know of connections to the family
