we have just lost our beloved samoyed after 13 years. Harley was never left on his own for longer thatn 2 hours. We are going to get another samoyed and again he will only be left for 2 hours; Would having 2 samoyeds be company for each other whilst Iwe are out or does it not make any difference. ;

I always find that more than one dog are company for each other - this samoyed web site may answer some of your questions

If you are planning on getting two from a litter (or two young pups at the same time) you could be in for a problem either with the two males or two females not getting on once they get a bit older, or one of each being a problem when the bitch comes in season, and they may bond with each other and not with you. I would get one and then decide later if you want another one. Two pups are twice the training, twice the peeing and pooing and twice the cost!

Two hours is not too long to leave apup, they sleep a lot at that age, and if you provide a cage for it it will be happy to go in there while you go out.
