I have BT broadband (5gb per month limit). I know that any webpage I view or any file I download or upload will count towards my limit. But if I hook up my Xbox 360 to broadband and play online, will playing games like Project Gotham Racing or Gears of War count towards my limit? Cant see how because the Xbox 360 is not downloading anything

Please let me know!

Cheers

When you play games online you are constantly sending and receiving information over your internet connection. Otherwise how would you see the other cars on the track or know where you team mates are on the map in Gears of War?

Playing any game online will consume your monthly limit. By how much will depend on the game and how often you play.
I play call of Duty 3 online quite a lot - maybe 10 hours a week and I've never gone over my monthly limit of 10Gb. We surf the net a lot at home and download a fair amoubnt of music too .

I don't think playing xbox live uses that much. Kerplunk is quite correct that it is constantly uploading and downloading but I think the quantity of data travelling is pretty low.
