Can you hire a car abroad if you have had a driving ban???

Ok thanks......... As my ban is over in the UK and can drive again thought I just might of been able to abroad as well.
So you are no longer on a ban?... If your ban is over then there should be no problem driving abroad. Which country are you going to?
i may have misread the question ! where in the world do you want to drive? normally both parts of the licence are required, although when the ban is finished you can send the licence back (for a small fee) to DVLA to get the conviction removed from the paper part of the licence(but unfortunately it remains on your record)
