Ugly rumours.

There are some ugly rumours going around my villiage about some people that have just moved away. eg. they owe money to different people and also that they have never paid for a relatives funeral and are being sued by the undertakers. I just cant believe any of it. I really liked these people and I am still in contact with them. Should I tell them what is going on ( I am seeing them tomorrow night) or should I keep quiet.

tell them village gossip is a night mare . i live in village and everything always gets changed it drives me mad . people with nothing better to do than sl*g people off .

Rumours schumours! People do things for different reasons. I hate gossip and gossipers; all they do is set strife.

I really am dismayed, people who were happy to accept the hospitality of my friends are now back biting. I'm quite upset. I went to the local pub this evening and it all started again I wanted it putting on record that I do not agree and untill there is proof of some sort I will not be a party to this childish gossip.

puss let your friends know what is going on when you see them later.....if they say it's all rubbish.....then when the subject comes up again in your local you can put them straight x

What you say is so typical of village life, on the one hand it is lovely,but with that comes the crap, they will probably have expected some stupid rumours to be spread once they have left, tell them and have a laugh about it, if the villagers weren't talking about them it would be somebody else, I feel sorry for the ones that start these rumours, think they have very sad lives,
