How Do You Make Shiny Leather Dull?

I've been given a leather jacket by my girlfriends mother, problem is it's really shiny, so much so that it reminds me of plastic, you know the look. Anyway, was wondering how I could dullen it to make it look a bit better? Obviously I could wear it lots and naturally make it look older and less shiny but is there a way I can speed it up?

It's made by Calvin Klein, it's actually very nice except for the shinyness.
