I've been hearing a song recently that sounds like Dexy's Midnight Runners or Kevin Rowland and it has an acoustic guitar chorus that goes something like 'I love you, you know I need you'. Anyone any ideas who it is?

Could it be 'Because of You' by Dexy's i.e. the theme from the TV show Brushstrokes?

"Because of you...these things I do...." etc etc?

No, I know that one. The chorus is not unlike it in that it's kind of slow with a man singing and an acoustic guitar. I think it's a recent or new song though. Thanks though.
