Magnolia tree alittle over 32 year old has become infested with little nodgels growing all over its limbs and insects of all kinds, flys of all kinds,bees of all kinds are sworming around it. Its leaves are turning black like a fungus is growing on them. What can I do to stop this?

I think you may have a problem with 'scale insects '.This fungus you are descibing are actually insects. Go to a good garden centre and they will give you some advice . I beleive you can save the tree but it might take a while to treat, as a particular solution has to be applied at a specific time of the year.
