can anyone recommend a sauce (no cheese please). i want to use up some leftover frozen fish ingredients, with tagliatelle

a tomato sauce would be fine with these ingredients. Fry off some onions and garlic, add tomatoes and shredded basil, throw in the fish and serve with pasta and crusty bread. Peasant food at its best.
