Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

As you have posted a message re-advertising the Samaritans quiz, please can you tell us if there is a mistake in the number of letters in brackets in question 40(the Essex town). I think it should be an anagram of "send a far flown", in which case the numbers in brackets should read (7,6).If I am correct, I am sorry to be the one who has reported it, but I would like to save my fellow compers the time I've wasted in searching the atlas in Essex for a non-existant town.Afterall, I should have recognised the town as I did my career training there!

Yes thanks, I wasn't asking to give the answer away as the sheets haven't been around for long. I just wanted to know if there was a mistake in the numbers in brackets.

Hi poodledoo ... been so busy posting out that I haven't had time to look but I will drop a note through friends door this afternoon to ask. Look how many of us thought there had been a mistake with the Earl Grey question a while ago and it turned out he knew exactly what he wanted. Will get back to you shortly xx
