46d Cutting corners in relation to reconstructing? (7)
Answer appears to be ANAGRAM, but apart from "reconstructing" I can't see why. Any suggestions?

This one puzzled me as well!

In my desperation I even tried to make something of 'cutting two corners' - Amen ( as at the Masters golf) and Angle but although I'm sure the answer is anagram the logic escapes me

I know I will feel foolish when I see the answer but I'd still like to know!
