I have purchased second hand a Towing Hitch for a Landrover Defender (1998 300TDI), what are the corrrect attaching bolts I should use?

Someone there should be able to help.

They must have strength markings on the bolt heads min 8.8 which is a ratio of the tensile/yield strength - best bet is to get a couple from a towbar supplier - that way you will be sure they are up to the job.
