I always hold doors open for any woman, It is your upbringing, I was out on my run today and noticed a lady coming the wrong way down a one way street, I tried to flag her down to tell her of the danger ahead, but she was mental and tried to mow me over.

I can't help but hold doors open for ladies, it is how I was brought up. BUT, I rarely get a thank you and if I do it is from the older generation. I sometimes wonder why I bother. On the same front I always remove my hat indoors rather than sit in those ridiculous baseball caps which seem to be nailed to some (thick) heads.

In these days of equality, do you hold doors open for men? Personaly, I will hold a door for anyone following close behind me, man or woman, sometimes getting an acknowlwdgement, sometimes being ignored. It makes me a better person though, I think.

yes i would hold doors open for someone behind me - regardless of sex but the point is i find it rude that men dont hold doors open , that is my opinion i find it very rude and lack of breeding
