i lived in a terraced house which suffered water damage due to a leaking gutter.the guttering in question was on my neighbours side although we both suffered from the water ingress.who is responsible?

If it's on your neighbours side the it would be them who are responsible for the damage. If it's not fixed it will eventually lead to damp penetration to your property. I would ask you neighbour if they can get it fixed as it will cause damp, resulting in major damage to your property and the value of your home.

If you are not on friendly terms with your neighbours aask your solicitor to write them a letter.

thanks for that but already gone way past that !moved a year ago ,absentee landlord got court judgement against me since movin.now have to go to court to defend myself in person and prove \t was his fault !
