I'm not referring to the Paul Reed Smith Dragon guitar of course cos that's just mental... anyway:

When I first played a PRS custom it had a 8/9/10-ish way selector switch and pickups called DRAGONs.

These were awesome, and when volume was increased the pickups automatically distorted and went to max.overdrive, regardless of Amp setting.

Was this really true? Because when I was at Birmingham MusicLive last year and every year since about '98, I have asked the guys on the PRS stand (which is HUGE) if any of the models have DRAGONs on them. Their reply was 'no the dragon is in the warehouse' and any guitar fan will know that they were referring to the 25k axe made of 400-odd pieces of shell and **** like that...and I was on about the pickups so they should all be fired.

End of.

Anyways, help appreciated!
