I've just been given a sky digibox and want to connect it up so that the sound comes through my phillips home entertainment stereo thingy.

There are two scart sockets on the back of my tv and one each on the digibox and the stereo. I've got plenty of cables (scart and RGB).

I've just got no idea what to put where. Any ideas?

Hi I have my sky box connected to my stereo by the 2 phono sockets that are on your box and your stereo. There is also an optical connection in the back of the sky box if you have one on your stereo as well.
You say there is a scart socket on your stereo well must admit thats a new one on me are you sure?
Connect a scart from your sky box to your entertainment system then set your entertainment system to ,most probably,AUX IN. This will mean your sound system will get its input from an auxilliary (or external) source rather than its own internals.
Next connect a normal coax type cable from your sky box to your tv and tune your tv in to your sky box.
This coax cable will not give as good a picture as a scart lead but if thats all the connections you have on the back of the boxes then its tough luck really .Good luck !
