I have read that I can get more tracks on my MP3 player by converting the files to WMA - I am not very technical on computers and do not want to do anything which may lose all my stored music. Can someone please give me a laymans guide to converting these tracks from MP3 to WMA - I would be very grateful. Thank you

WMA is considered to be better quality than mp3. Therefore you can encode at half the bit rate in WMA and get the same quality. i.e. 64bps WMA = 128bps mp3. This would mean you can get twicw as many tracks on your mp3 player.
To convert them use this program - it is free and works.

Make sure you backup your original tracks in case your mp3 player will not play WMA files.
