Hi I am on a fixed term contract and would be grateful of some employment law advice.

My fixed term contract was due to end at the end of January, as per my contract. This was then extended until the end of April. What I want to know is if my company still has to give notice e.g. one months notice if they are going to terminate my employment at the end of April i.e. tell me at the end of March that they will not be renewing my contract for a 2nd time?

Many Thanks

Hi.
To be honest your best bet would be go through the Acas website, as your only on a fixed contract then Id ont think they need to give you notice, as you are only contracted from a A to B point in time.
